(CHARLOTTE, NC) – Beginning this May, Sankalp Puri, MD, FACEP, an emergency medicine physician with Mid-Atlantic Emergency Medical Associates (MEMA) will take on the two-year role of Vice Chief of Staff at Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center (MHMC) where he will be providing leadership and direction to the medical staff.

Since the medical center opened its doors in 2018, Dr. Puri has been an integral part of leadership, where over 16,000 patients were cared for within the center’s first year. Fast-forward to 2023, the patient growth story continues as the medical center saw over 29,000 patients in 2022. Dr. Puri shares, “I look forward to continuing to work with the entire MHMC staff offering the highest standard of care for the health needs of the community. As a native Charlottean, it is the utmost honor to serve this community.”
