forward to advocating on behalf of all emergency physicians across the state to improve access to
healthcare and increase physician leadership in our organizations.” shares Dr. Loyd.

Adding Loyd confirms a total of 7 MEMA physicians currently active within NCCEP’s Board of Directors and leadership positions. Sankalp Puri, MD, FACEP, and NCCEP’s Immediate Past President shares, “Having Dr. Loyd join the NCCEP board, along with other MEMA physicians including Todd Listwa, MD, FACEP, Melanie Artho, MD and with ongoing involvement with Stephen Small, MD, FACEP, Tim Lietz, MD, FACEP, and Tommy Mason, MD, FACEP  will only make MEMA a stronger group as we continue to be engaged on both a state and national level.”

Todd Listwa, MD, FACEP

Todd Listwa, MD, FACEP agrees and adds, “MEMA’s involvement says something about our physicians and company culture; that we are the kind of clinicians who want to lead state-wide legislative engagement and are interested in leading the healthcare industry to benefit not just our organizations we represent but our patients as well.”
