Stephen A. Small, MD

Elected to the
North Carolina College of Emergency Physicians Board of Directors

Dr. Stephen A. Small, an Emergency Medicine physician with Mid-Atlantic Emergency Medical Associates, MEMA, in Charlotte, NC was elected to the Board of Directors of the North Carolina College of Emergency Physicians, NCCEP at their annual Scientific Conference June 15-17, 2007. Dr. Small was elected to a two year term and will serve from June 2007- June 2009. In addition to his election to the NCCEP Board, Dr. Small has been appointed Chairman of the Membership Committee.

Dr. Steve Small graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BA in Chemistry in 1993 and graduated from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA in 1997. He served in the United States Air Force and then completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at the University of Virginia, in Charlottesville, VA where he was Chief Resident 2004-2005. In July 2005, Dr. Small joined Mid-Atlantic Emergency Medical Associates, a practice of over 50 physicians providing emergency and acute care services to Presbyterian Hospitals in Charlotte, Matthews, and Huntersville, as well as Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville and Davis Regional Medical Center in Statesville.
