We are pleased to announce that MEMA’s Melanie Artho, MD, FACEP, has been elected President of the North Carolina College of Emergency Physicians (NCCEP) Board of Directors for the 2025–26 term. The new Board of Directors was elected during the Annual Membership meeting held on June 4, 2025, in Kiawah Island, South Carolina.
Dr. Artho brings extensive expertise and leadership to the role and joins a dedicated group of officers, directors, and councillors committed to advancing the field of emergency medicine.
