The MEMA and Novant Health Emergency Department teams came together in an extraordinary way this season! We collectively raised an incredible $5,598 in cash donations, the equivalent of 17,634 pounds of food for Second Harvest Food Bank, all of which went directly back into the communities we proudly serve. Every contribution, whether large or small, helped strengthen the impact we were able to make together.

While Team Ballantyne / Matthews Medical Center came out on top in this friendly inter-facility competition, the truth is that we all won. “By uniting around a purpose bigger than ourselves, we demonstrated what is possible when our teams collaborate with generous hearts,” says Beth McInnis, MSN, ARNP, ACNP-BC, FNP-BC who spearheaded the effort.
