Emergency nurses are masters of prioritization, resource management, and interprofessional collaboration while managing multiple patients simultaneously. Above all, they show incredible emotional resilience, maintaining composure and heartfelt compassion while caring for vulnerable individuals in the worst imaginable situations. They see people in crisis at the most vulnerable times in their lives. Emergency room nurses have the clinical skills to manage various complex cases and handle the psychosocial challenges these vulnerable patients face. “Resilience” is a keyword that describes ER nurses. I am proud to work alongside these talented and compassionate men and women. There is no place I would rather be than in the unpredictable environment of the ER! Congratulations, ER nurses!”
