(CHARLOTTE, NC) – The American Journal of Nursing announced their 2020 Book of the Year Awards, listing Pediatric Emergent/Urgent and Ambulatory Care: “The Pocket NP” co-authored by Dr. Kathleen S. Jordan, DNP, MS, FNP-BC, ENP-C, SANE-P, FAEN, FAANP in third place under the Child Health subcategory.
Mid-Atlantic Emergency Medical Associates (MEMA) congratulates Dr. Jordan, a board-certified emergency nurse practitioner who announced the release of the book in June of 2020. In Dr. Jordan’s thirty-year career span, she has served in various roles including clinician, educator, mentor, author, and researcher. She is also a Fellow in the Academy of Emergency Nursing and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
